Mark Bumgardner

Mark Bumgardner is the National Technical Director for Broadway Across America, a premiere promoter and producer of live theatrical events in the United States and Canada. Mark is based out of the Houston office and has been working with touring productions for over 17 years.

Mark began his theatrical career as a stagehand working with the local labor union. He immediately moved into the position of technical director for one of Houston’s main presenting venues, Jesse H. Jones Hall. Shortly after assuming this position, Mark augmented this position by taking on the role of contracted technical director for the Houston Broadway series and Society for the Performing Arts. He has been in this position for over 12 years.

Mark has also facilitated site visits to many of the venues on the BAA network, and has a good working relationship with touring management staffs on the road today. He displays a hands on working knowledge of touring productions and has the expertise to facilitate the move in and out of theatrical events both efficiently and cost effectively.
