Tony Galuppi

Tony Galuppi currently working as the National Rigging Manager for VER, has worked within the Entertainment rigging industry for more than 25 years. Tony sits on the ETCP certification council, a position that he has been proud to hold for many years. Tony is a ETCP certified rigger, rescue SCUBA diver, aerial rescue specialist and works to build rescue plans specific to each show that he contributes to. Tony holds competent inspector certification and enjoys every chance to take additional classes, in his words, "You have to keep up with the industry". Tony has worked within SAG/AFTRA contributing to Film, Television, Commercials, Music Video and Concerts along with more than 20,000 live theatrical performances.

In his words, "This has to be one of the greatest jobs in the world when done correctly. When we guess at the outcome, when what we hope never happens-happens, when we're not ready; it will be the worst memory of your life."
