Ethan Gilson

Ethan Gilson is a graduate of Emerson College (BFA, Performing Arts), has been an ETCP Certified Rigger (Arena & Theatre) since 2005, when the first rigging exam was offered. He is the production rigger for ALPS/Advanced Lighting & Production Services, Inc. in Boston overseeing rigging for both the Event Production Department and the System Installation Department. Ethan has maintained his certification through completion of annual training courses around the United States. As a voting member of the ESTA Technical Standards Rigging Work Group, he helped to write the first standard recommending proper fall arrest use within the entertainment industry.
