  • Web Session: Introduction to Winches and Hoists
    This free session kicks off our automation series with Joe Champelli, VP of EPS. Joe has over 20 years of experience designing stage and effects machinery, and brings his expertise to this series. In this session we will discuss the components that make a stage winch and hoist. We will also discuss the differences between winches and hoists- if you thought they were the same, they are not!

  • Rigging 201: Codes & Standards in Entertainment - $35
    This course will introduce you to the main codes and standards bodies that we use in the entertainment industry.
    This course is eligible for 1 ETCP recertification credit.
  • Rigging 202: Forces, Design Factors, and Loads - $35
    This course will introduce you to the forces and loads we encounter in rigging. We will also establish how we approach design factors in entertainment.
    This course is eligible for 1 ETCP recertification credit.
  • Rigging 203: Basic Rigging Hardware - $35
    During this course we will look at the hardware that makes up the basic building blocks of most rigging systems.
    This course is eligible for 1 ETCP recertification credit.
  • Rigging 204: Cable, Rope and Terminations for Entertainment - $35
    During this course we will explore cable, rope, and the terminations they use. All of these items are used almost every day in our world.
    This course is eligible for 1 ETCP recertification credit.

  • Rigging 206: Rigging Math: Point Loads and Uniform Loads - $35
    During this course we will look at the math and logic behind quantifying point loads and uniform loads in your rigging systems.
    This course is eligible for 1 ETCP recertification credit.
  • Rigging 207: Rigging Math: Bridles - $35
    This course will introduce you to the forces and loads we encounter in bridles. We will look at figuring out bridle leg lengths and forces in the bridles.
    This course is eligible for 1 ETCP recertification credit.
