PAPER AND PENCIL EXAMS OFFERED AT LDI 2007 IN ORLANDO, FL

If you're a rigger or an electrician, get ready to show the industry what you know! All three ETCP examinations will be given at the November 2007 LDI show in Orlando, FL.The entertainment electrician exam is scheduled for Friday, November 16th; the arena rigging exam is to be given the morning of Saturday, November 17th and the theatre rigging exam is scheduled for that afternoon.  Candidates who wish to take multiple exams will receive a discount for the second exam. Interested applicants must submit their application, along with supporting materials and fee, postmarked no later than October 1, 2007. Space is limited, so submit your application today! Those who pass these rigorous tests will become ETCP Certified - and will be recognized as the industry's best.

The electrical certifications are designed for highly experienced electricians (including leads, supervisors, and managers of entertainment electrical work). The rigging certifications are designed for highly experienced riggers (rigging supervisors, high steel riggers, fly-persons, etc).

Can't make it to Orlando? Rigging examinations are given daily at over 190 computer based testing centers across the U.S. and Canada. For a list of centers in your area, please visit our testing company's website at: http://www.goamp.com/sched/w_aspen_acn.display_map?p_exam_id=20859.

After your application has been received and accepted, you will be sent information on how to schedule your examination at a site, date, and time that is most convenient for you.

Don't delay getting your certification! The sooner your application is submitted, the sooner you can take the test to become ETCP Certified. Many employers are now using the ETCP website to search for certified technicians.

The ETCP Council members are key leaders drawn from entertainment business, labor, facilities, associations, and academia representing the diversity of the entertainment industry. Membership includes AMPTP, CITT, ESTA, IAAM, IATSE, InfoComm, The League, Live Nation, PRG, TEA, and USITT. ETCP is an ESTA initiative created to promote industry safety.
